In Atlanta for the summer, moving to Minneapolis for the fall...

June update:

  • New York and Frankie 95 was AMAZING!  Not only was the city full of opportunities, training with Michael and Evita amazing (and sore), but the dancing each day and night was among the best we've ever encountered.  Live bands, late nights and masters classes in the Alvin Ailey school to fill our days.  Needless to say, we returned to Atlanta exhausted but enthused.
  • We've also made the decision to move back to Minneapolis, Minnesota in the fall of 2009.  Our summer will be filled with dancing, teaching and living a HOTlanta lifestyle, followed by a Greenville, SC workshop Sept. 5 en route to Minneapolis.  We'll see you soon, Vikings!
  • Next week (June 25-30), we'll be heading towards Boston, Massachusetts for Beantown Camp, with plans to study in Andrew Sutton's teachers training seminar.  To read more about Andrew, see http://www.smoothsavoy.com/blog/.  We plan to be thoroughly sore by the end of that extended weekend.  See you there!

Site Work, New York, and life

Well, we've had a whirlwind of a journey in life recently - From Auburn, to Furman, to a Wedding, and now a funeral. What could possibly be next?

This week we head out to New York city for our long awaited vacation! We'll be checking out the sites and preparing for possibly the biggest event around, Frankie's Memorial weekend. This originally was planned to be his 95th birthday celebration, but, sadly, he passed away recently. If you haven't had a chance yet, check out the site for this event at: http://www.frankie95.com/

Columbia

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Columbia, South Carolina for bringing us in for the "Swing into Spring" weekend!  We had a BLAST teaching alongside Michael and Jaya Gamble, dancing with all of the enthusiastic dancers and being amazed by the energy of the scene!  Thank you for having us over!

About Us

What is dancing to this energetic duo? It's an expression of music, energy, and enjoyment. Jeff and Liz focus first on the fun. They believe that the path to dance enlightenment does not lie in how perfectly one triple-steps, but how joyfully one expresses themselves!
